I've worked at Edenvale Nursery for over 20 years. I enjoy working outside. My husband and I both enjoy working in our yard which was a bare lot 20 years ago. We now have 36 trees, 97 shrubs, plus perennials and evergreens. All of our plants were purchased from Edenvale Nursery, and we now have year-round color and interest attracting many birds. Our empty lot has become our oasis. We enjoy sharing our yard with family and friends, and I love sharing my knowledge and experience with our customers. I can help make your open spaces into places of pride and joy.

Outdoor sales employee of Edenvale Nursery since 2002. I have developed a “real green thumb” through planning, planting and maintenance of three new home projects over the past twenty years. Additionally, I have planned and consulted on countless other family and friend new and renovation projects. These residential projects have ranged from ponds, to orchards, to privacy screens, to pool sides and extensive foundation landscaping.
My love for perennials, shrubs and trees provides my motivation to provide helpful and thought-out advice to others on the selection, placement, installation and maintenance of these plants. I have learned that the maintenance and long-term care of perennial plants is where the art and science of this business come together.
At Edenvale Nursery we know that not every “gorgeous” looking plant in a pot fits all owners’ needs for their respective landscape. Helping define the sun aspect, growth space and desired maintenance are critical to your satisfaction.

My love of plants has always been a huge part of my life. At the age of 4 I received a gardening tool set, and I have been digging in the dirt ever since! After high school I pursued my degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design. Using this degree I had my own landscaping business for several years before joining the Edenvale team. We have been honored to have our yard become part of the Mankato garden tour twice, displaying over 300 varieties of hostas.
It brings me so much joy to share this passion with others, helping them to discover new plants and and find the right plants to fit their unique needs. If you need a professional landscape plan drawn up or just a few new plants to brighten your world, I would love to help.

Greetings to all you dirt diggers….I am digging into my 10th year working with Betty, Jim and ‘the Girls’! And every year is different from the last.
My husband and I live on a wonderful 8 acre dooryard just north of Wells. If a tree, shrub or perennial did not come directly from Edenvale, a rooting or ‘chunk’ of it came from family or friends who originally got it from Edenvale! In our yard we are lucky to have Maples, Tiger Eye Sumac, Lilacs, Techny Arborvitae, Flowering Crabs, Shrubs galore and never mind the Perennials that get split, moved and reshuffled!
We are not a cookie cutter nursery. Every planting is different from the sun exposure, to the soil and to how much effort and time you want to put into your plantings. We are here to help, listen and offer friendly knowledgeable advice. Every yard, patio, pot or planter has indefinite potential of being beautiful and wowing your friends, family and neighborhood– let us help you make the most out of it!
